On December 6, the 4th "Blooming Cup" 5G Application Competition Advanced Manufacturing Special Competition Award Ceremony and Digital Economy Development Forum were held at Qingdao International Conference Center. The forum was hosted by Qingdao Information and Communication Research Institute, BRICS Future Network Research Institute China Branch, Qingdao Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Qingdao West Coast New Area Management Committee.

The theme of this forum is "5G Empowerment, Creating a Smart Future", and the participants discussed and exchanged topics such as digital solutions empowering enterprises to transform into digital intelligence. In addition, the former Minister of Industry and Information Technology, President of China Federation of Industrial Economics, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of China Communications Society, members of the Party Leadership Group of Qingdao Municipal Government, Deputy Mayor and other relevant leaders and guests attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

The "5G + Advanced Manufacturing Application White Paper (2021)", "100 Cases of 5G Application Promotion in Qingdao" and "Top Ten Cases of Qingdao Mobile Gigabit City" were released on the spot. 88 5G advanced manufacturing projects won awards, laying a solid foundation for Qingdao to develop a digital economy and build a good ecological environment for 5G applications.

Through this competition, I hope to reach cooperation with more excellent teams in multiple dimensions such as technology application and business model, and promote more 5G industrial projects to be implemented in the new area; establish the West Coast New Area and the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the BRICS future network research A long-term cooperation mechanism in the 5G field of the Institute (China Branch); to build a 5G innovation and entrepreneurship collaboration center platform to promote regional 5G industrial integration and element resource coordination.
